yes, the boys are so… blah! No body definition. Actually, I find the features in this site confusing. What do you really want to show us? You presented transexuals last month (not that I am against them). You presented males this month. What is really the aim of this “premiere e-mag”? Who are your audiences? As of now, I find it useless. No spark. Take this criticism constructively.
Hmmm…sa pagkasabot nako, ang iconoclast kay gabreak ug mga traditional nga mga butang ug concepto… so i guess dili ta mag expect nga makakita ta ug super glossy pics or super common na articles sa iconoclastmag kay dili na in line sa ilang vision…
sometimes we have to think out of the box in order to appreciate something… not all works of art can be understood easily… if you are so engrossed with the usual, you will never know what beauty lies beneath the surface…

Guys, we can comment on other peoples work, but we also have to consider their feelings. They’re Human! After all, we too are HUMAN, right? We are given this so-called “Freedom of Expression” thingy, but it is meant to be exercised in the right way, with the right usage of words… Now, THIS is ART… NOBODY can question nor dictate the artist on how she thinks with her concept.. We can suggest and share our ideas, but I don’t think we need to be violent! We need NOT to abash, nor speak WAY TOO MUCH NEGATIVITY to the one who took these shots if first and foremost, we DID NOT EVEN contribute a single thing with its production..
the concept is tremendously original and unique!
the models are not extraordinary but gave a new kind of feel in the world of magazine… the nailed it… i like it…
editing wise, it was superb… if it catches the audience (whether negatively or positively), then it must be something already…
kudos to the photographer, models, and mag staff!
I love the juxtaposition of the identical twins vis-a-vis their individual personality. The story the viewer gets is not so much about finding perfection in the fair share of the genetic pool but in discovering the dynamism between two bundles of joy. This is way cutting edge. Kudos to the art direction, styling, and photography!

to Sanasanz and Mai: Ma gwapo, pangit, flawless or what evah, ok rana kay depende ra man gud na sa pag tan aw. Most viewers kasi don’t read. they just comment na without reading the story.

Jane – nobody from my team are offended with the criticisms that the site has got. if you have read any offensive comments, then that’s from the readers, not from us. and if we only want to hear what’s good then we wouldn’t want any negative criticisms posted on our site for the public to see (because we can easily delete it, you know).
if your cup of tea is a bunch of male photos with lots of cheese then go ahead, i will not hold you back. but, if you are looking for photos like the ones in modexy here, sorry to disappoint.
we are here to express our passion, which is art. and someone who commented above said that sometimes we cannot understand art, which is true. so to question why are the photos edited like that then that’s up to the photographer and the editor. if you do not like, you can always pass and move on. simple as that. it’s all about taste and what you like.

So kinsa diay na nga pol ? there’s only one pol who hates me … and its you ! you wont comment like that if you dnt dislke me ! what did i do to you ? im just doing the things that i like to do … do yours
as much as i do think the concept is very original & that’s one strength of this shoot. however, there are some glitches which sort of wastes what could have been a great set.
1.) post processing. it’s like this: when you see a great fashion show, all the items are supposed to be cohesive. the editing done differs too much, way too much that it doesn’t look like they’re from one photographer.
2.) styling. no matter how “un-sculpted” a model is or how simple a set is, styling always pulls the whole shoot up. the boxers are not flattering sad to say or are the jeans worn by the models expensive looking. if there’s one thing why we all love gucci, versace, balmain, etc. ad campaigns is because the styling all looks expensive.
however, the use of bandaritas and the balloons are both something new. the use of twin males as well.
may this be of constructive criticism. i for one fully support local talent and the efforts. i would not want such effort put to waste.

@Jane Natividad: ka bitter ba nimo geng? Pakita daw sa imong photoshoots or any work of art beh para makaingon ko nga naa kay say nga mag hatag2x ug imong murag korek nga opinion. Kumbaga, may K ka nga mag criticize ug in-ana ka hait nga critiques. Pero kung wala kay mapakita nga original work of art nimo then dili ko mu-BOW sa imo and I would say “Pag Sure oi!”
Murag ka gwapa/gwapo pud kaha nimo no? kay murag korek ra kaayo ka mu-comment.

thank you for taking my criticism as constructive:) i do believe that the pool of talent behind this magazine is great.. effort, enthusiasm & tenacity are the good things i feel behind this. then again, didn’t you guys just start recently? so the mediocrity is understandable. in time, everything will improve.
maybe if the models both wore plain white v-neck tops, it could’ve looked more GQ-esque. but then again, this advice is kinda late. haha. regardless, i hope to see improvement soon. i may not entirely like this, but that won’t stop me from believing the team will improve
one of your frenz told me from fb-chat about ds (sya gani mismo wala miangay sapic editing)… 1 ting 4 sure lahi na na Pol… sa Fb dili ikaw ako gina koment; ang editing sa pic and not the taking of the pic (ka2 naa 40s motip)… appreciated man gani nako uban angles… wala ko kabalo kinsa ga edit ato ug kalit ka raman nag koment pod ataking my kinabuhi, so 8 mins ikaw diay nag edit ato. basta ako im just tru kung unsa ako na koment sa Fb kay gatoo ko na ctive criticism is a wonderful way to improve sambadi’s work…now f dili nimo ma take wla ko mahimo kay 8s 4 public display welcoming koments.
POL … there’s only one thing i can tell you … i have no time sitting down and editing pictures … I’m a full time mom and very busy I’m just enjoying whatever vacant time i can find in photography .
I Have Given the trust and confidence sa e-mag staff to do what ever they like with my pictures for art sake.
Well that’s how they wanted it to be , so be it !

Dili lagi ka photographer, niingon diay ko photo art lang imo ikapakita? Ingon bya ko or any other work of art. kay maayo man kaayo ka mu saway. so that means you have a good taste of art. Sige daw beh unsa man imo art bisan drawing man lang or unsa ba. Murag korek man gud ka mag comment dai, feeler ra pud ka.
pakita daw bisan imong kaugalingon nga site lang beh. tan-awon nato kung naa ba kay ikabuga nga art.
